§ 32.091  DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ACCOMMODATIONS.  Any room or rooms, lodgings or accommodations furnished to transients for less than 30 continuous days by any hotel, motel, boardinghouse, tourist home, inn, tourist camp, tourist cabin, camping grounds, travel campground, club and/or any other place in which rooms, lodging, space or accommodations are regularly furnished to transients for a consideration.
   PROVIDER.  Any person, persons or entity of any nature whatsoever which owns or operates within the town any hotel, motel, boardinghouse, tourist home, inn, tourist camp, tourist cabin, camping grounds, travel campground, club and/or other facilities offering guest rooms rented out for continuous occupancy for fewer than 30 consecutive days.
   TOWN CLERK.  The Town Clerk or any duly designated official. For purposes of this subchapter, the TOWN CLERK shall be deemed to be the Treasurer for the town.
   TRANSIENT.  One or more individuals who, for a period of not more than 30 consecutive days, either at their own expense or at the expense of another, lodge or obtain lodging at any hotel, motel, boardinghouse, tourist home, inn, tourist camp, tourist cabin, camping grounds, travel campground, club and/or similar place.
