It shall be unlawful for any person to park a truck or automobile on any public street or drive in the town, either in the daytime or nighttime, except in a position parallel to and within 12 inches of the curb, unless permitted. Angular parking shall be plainly designated by lines painted upon the surface of the street indicating the angular lines wherein parking may be effective.
