§ 30.27 DIVISION OF DEPARTMENT.
   (A)   The Public Safety Department shall have two divisions:
      (1)   Division 1 shall be the Police Department; and
      (2)   Division 2 shall be the Ambulance Department.
   (B)   Division 1 shall have all of these Police Powers set forth by the Charter, City Ordinances, and State Laws.
   (C)   The Public Safety Director may appoint an Assistant Director in Division 2 subject to the approval of the City Manager.
   (D)   The Public Safety Department shall be governed by policies drafted by the City Manager and approved by the City Commission. Provided, however, conditions of employment of both departments shall be set forth in separate statements.
   (E)   Divisions 1 and 2 shall have separate budgets.
