(A) Any person who shall discharge any firearm within the corporate limits of the city shall be deemed to be a disorderly person, except persons discharging firearms for events exempted pursuant to division (B).
(B) The City Commission may grant temporary permits for the controlled use of firearms for demonstration or contest purposes. Any such permits shall be for a period not to exceed three days and shall be limited to specific times and locations. The City Commission may impose conditions on any such permits, including requirements for liability insurance or performance bonds.
