§ 111.04 INVESTIGATION INTO CHARACTER.
   It shall be the duty of the City Manager to cause an investigation to be made as to the character of the applicant or applicants and of the officers of the corporation and of the person or persons who are to have general management of the business and file a written report to his findings with the City Clerk, and the applicant shall be rejected if the City Manager shall find any of the persons named in the application not of good moral character, or that the person or persons have previously been connected with any billiard and pool room or bowling alley or public dance hall where the license has been revoked, or where any of the provisions of this chapter or the state law with reference to public dance halls, billiard or pool rooms and bowling alleys have been violated, or if the dance hall, billiard or bowling alley sought to be licensed does not comply, in every way with the regulations, ordinances and rules applicable thereto.
