(A) This section describes the approval standards used to evaluate a proposed storm water management plan. The City Engineer shall not approve a storm water management plan, which fails to meet these standards. Other applicable standards, such as state and federal standards, shall also apply. If the standards of different agencies conflict, the more restrictive standards shall apply.
(B) It shall be the applicant’s responsibility to obtain any required permits from other governmental agencies having any jurisdictional authority over the work to be performed. Typically, such agencies include, but are not limited to, the county, the State Department of Natural Resources, the State Department of Transportation, the State Pollution Control Agency, the State Historical Preservation Office, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Emergency Management Agency and others. The city may choose to obtain some of the required permits. The applicant will be notified which permits are to be obtained by the city.
