The roof over the main portions of a building shall be a sloping roof of not less than five by twelve and not more than twelve by fifteen pitch. The roof over other portions of the building may be less than five by twelve or more than twelve by fifteen pitch, but shall not exceed twenty percent of the total area under the roof. The high point of the roof shall be at the ridge pole, which shall be located near the centerline of the building, and the roof shall fall toward the outside or exterior perimeter of the building. The low line of the roof shall parallel the exterior perimeter.
