Whoever violates or fails to comply with any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues after the offender has been notified, by the Building Inspector or his or her deputies, of such violation or noncompliance.
