The Building Inspector shall be responsible for making inspections sufficient to enforce this chapter. In the event the Building Inspector determines it is necessary to obtain professional assistance in determining whether or not a building or structure is being constructed in accordance with the terms of the permit issued hereunder, he shall, at the direction of the Mayor, have the authority to engage the services of a professional architect to provide such assistance.
