To the extent provided by the general laws of the State of Ohio, no member of Council, elected or appointed official, board or commission member or employee, shall have any financial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract, work or service with or for the municipality. Any person violating the provisions hereof shall forfeit his office and any such contract shall be voidable, at the option of Council.
