§ 91.19 ANIMALS AT CITY PERMITTED EVENTS AND/OR EVENTS HELD ON PROPERTY CONTROLLED BY THE CITY.
   (A)   No person shall bring, take, possess, or allow any dangerous or vicious dog, or dog or other animal that would constitute a public nuisance under the provisions of this chapter, at any organized special event, festival, or gathering that is open to public attendance for which a permit from the city is required and/or is held or located on property controlled by the city (defined as an “EVENT”).
   (B)   At any event where attendance is restricted to designated pedestrian entrance/exit points, the organizer of the event may restrict or prohibit the presence of animals; provided that reasonable notice of this provision is provided by the organizer, including but not limited to, inclusion in promotional and/or advertising materials and placing signs at event entrances, which notice reasonably informs the public of the restriction or prohibition.
   (C)   This code section is in addition to, and does not replace or supercede, other requirements and responsibilities of animal ownership.
