§ 71.13 STOP SIGNS.
   (A)   Whenever any ordinance of this city designates and describes a through street or stop or yield intersection, it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to place and maintain a stop or yield sign on each street intersecting the through street or intersecting that portion thereof described and designated by any ordinance. ('75 Code, § 41.17)
   (B)   Every sign erected pursuant to the traffic code shall bear the word "stop" in letters not less than eight inches in height. Every stop sign shall be located as near as practicable at the nearest line of the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection or, if none, at the nearest line of the roadway. All stop signs shall be reflectorized. ('75 Code, § 41.18)
