§ 72.51 DECLARATION OF LOCAL DISASTER EMERGENCY.
   The Mayor may declare a local disaster emergency. The declaration may not be continued or renewed for more than seven days without the consent of the Common Council. Any order or proclamation declaring, or continuing, or terminating a local disaster emergency shall be given prompt and general publicity and shall be filed promptly with the office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
