(a) No City employee shall be eligible for appointment or service on any City board, commission and/or committee when such body is established in the Charter, the Codified Ordinances, or by City Council.
(b) This section does not apply to the following:
(1) City employees who are designated to serve as a member of any City board, commission and/or committee by virtue of their official role and/or position in City government;
(2) Volunteer members of a different City board, commission and/or committee;
(3) Elected officials.
