(a) Except as in the Charter or the Codified Ordinances of the City of Hudson, every candidate or member of any City board, commission, or committee established by the Charter or the ordinances of City of Hudson, including any ad hoc committees established by City Council, shall, at the time of appointment be a bona fide resident of the City of Hudson and be willing and able to attend all regular meetings of the subject board, commission, and/or committee.
(b) No City employee shall be eligible for appointment or service on any City board, commission and/or committee when such body is established in the Charter, the Codified Ordinances, or by City Council.
(c) Subsection (b) does not apply to the following:
(1) City employees who are designated to serve as a member of any City board, commission and/or committee by virtue of their official role and/or position in City government;
(2) Volunteer members of a different City board, commission and/or committee;
(3) Elected officials.
