(a) In the context of eligibility for service on any City board, commission and/or committee under the Charter and/or the Codified Ordinances, "public office" shall mean only service as a City employee.
(b) Under this chapter, "City employee" shall mean any individual employed by the City currently or during the immediately preceding eighteen months in a full or part-time, temporary or permanent capacity.
(c) "Resident" shall mean any person who maintains a twelve-month place or places of residence in the City and has for the preceding twenty-four (24) months been present in such residence(s) more than fifteen (15) days each month, who is qualified as a resident to vote in the City, and who is subject to tax liability under Chapter 890 of the Codified Ordinances of Hudson. The fifteen (15) day a month requirement in the foregoing sentence does not apply to those who are absent from the City due to military activation or deployment.
