SECTION 16.01 EFFECTIVE DATE OF CHARTER.

For the purpose of nominating and electing officers of this Municipality and fixing the compensation of those to be elected in 1957, this Charter shall be in effect from and after the date of its approval by the electors and for all other purposes the Charter shall be in effect on and after the sixth (6th) day of January, 1958.
