The Mayor shall be elected at the regular Municipal election in 2003 and every fourth year thereafter, for a term of four (4) years, unless a vacancy is to be filled pursuant to Section 4.03. The Mayor shall assume office at the first regular Council meeting in December following the election. Anyone holding the office of Mayor may run for re-election.
