The Environmental Awareness Committee of Hudson shall:
(a) Act as an advisor to Council on environmental issues.
(b) Act as an advisor to Council on solid waste policy and management issues including the reduction, reuse, recycling and proper disposal of solid waste.
(c) Act as an advisor to Council on all matters related to sustainable development and environmental technologies.
(d) Enhance the awareness, understanding, commitment, and active involvement of local citizens in promoting wise stewardship of the city's natural resources, now and in the future, through education and volunteerism.
(e) Consider issues at the request of Council and report to Council as to all matters which the Committee has under consideration.
