There is hereby adopted the 2005 edition of the National Electrical Code, incorporated herein by reference, so that all electrical materials and installations in dwelling units of one, two and three-family dwellings and mobile homes, multifamily dwellings, commercial and industrial occupancy shall be in accordance with the requirements of the National Electrical Code, designated NFPA No.70 and sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association, save and except such portions as are hereinafter amended or deleted.
