It shall be the policy of the City to permit property owners to extend public water lines for water supplied by Summit County at a property owner's expense, or the property owner's agent's expense, and this motion reverses the previous policy of the City with respect to this issue. This motion, however, does not permit the extension of Summit County water lines in areas of the City where City water is reasonably available to property owners.
