432.26 DRIVING OVER FIRE HOSE.

   (a)   No vehicle shall, without the consent of the fire department official in command, be driven over any unprotected hose of a fire department that is laid down on any street or private driveway to be used at any fire or alarm of fire.

   (b)   No person shall knowingly enter or operate any vehicle in any area designated by the Fire Department as a fire zone at the scene of a fire, or drive any vehicle on, over or across any ladder or other equipment of the Fire Department.

   (c)   Except as otherwise provided in this division, whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one predicate motor vehicle or traffic offense, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of two or more predicate motor vehicle or traffic offenses, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.

   (d)   If the offender commits the offense while distracted and the distracting activity is a contributing factor to the commission of the offense, the offender is subject to the additional fine established under § 408.02(b).

432.27 DRIVING THROUGH SAFETY ZONE.

   (a)   No vehicle shall at any time be driven through or within a safety zone.

   (b)   Except as otherwise provided in this division, whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one predicate motor vehicle or traffic offense, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of two or more predicate motor vehicle or traffic offenses, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.

   (c)   If the offender commits the offense while distracted and the distracting activity is a contributing factor to the commission of the offense, the offender is subject to the additional fine established under § 408.02(b).

432.271 DRIVING AT SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF POSTED LIMITS THROUGH TARGET SPEED ZONES.

   No person shall operate a motor vehicle in a Target Speed Zone at a speed that is greater than the applicable maximum speed limit established in Section 434.03 of these Codified Ordinances for the roadway that comprises that Target Speed Zone.

432.28 ONE-WAY STREETS AND ROTARY TRAFFIC ISLANDS.

   (a)   (1)   Upon a roadway designated and posted with signs for one-way traffic, a vehicle shall be driven only in the direction designated.

      (2)   A vehicle passing around a rotary traffic island shall be driven only to the right of the rotary traffic island.

   (b)   Except as otherwise provided in this division, whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one predicate motor vehicle or traffic offense, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of two or more predicate motor vehicle or traffic offenses, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.

   (c)   If the offender commits the offense while distracted and the distracting activity is a contributing factor to the commission of the offense, the offender is subject to the additional fine established under § 408.02(b).
