295.01   COMPOSITION AND TERMS.
   The Hudson Economic Growth Board shall consist of between five and seven electors of the Municipality not holding other public office appointed by Council to serve without compensation for staggered terms as follows: In 2023 up to five electors to be appointed to terms of four years; In 2025 up to two additional electors to be appointed to terms of four years; In 2027 the terms of the electors appointed in 2023 shall convert to terms as follows: up to four electors appointed to terms of four years and one elector appointed to serve a term of two years; In 2029 up to three electors to be appointed to terms of four years; in each odd year thereafter electors shall be appointed to terms of four years in an amount consistent with the maximum number of expiring terms; vacancies may be filled only for the remainder of that term. Each member shall be a resident of the Municipality for two years preceding appointment and shall remain a resident during said term. Members shall serve no more than three consecutive four-year terms. At all times a Council member shall be appointed as liaison to the Hudson Economic Growth Board; however, their term shall not exceed their term of office on Council. Meetings shall be public, except as may be provided by State law. The Hudson Economic Growth Board shall provide assistance and support to the City Manager and the Economic Development staff.
