There is hereby established in and for the City a Community Development Department, formerly known as the Planning, Zoning and Economic Development Department of the City. The Community Development Department shall be composed of two Divisions, as follows: the Division of Code Enforcement, formerly known as the Department of Building Inspection; and the Division of Planning. The Department shall also be composed of a Director of Community Development, aka the Community Development Director, and such other officers and employees as the City Manager shall from time to time determine. The duties, terms of office, compensation and other incidents of employment of such officers and employees shall be as determined by Council.
