(a) There is hereby established a special fund to be known as the Petty Cash Fund. This Fund shall be under the direction and control of the City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, for the purpose of incidental purchases within any department, board or commission within the City.
(b) A cash change drawer shall be maintained within the Police Department and the Community Development Department that shall contain no more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), or a lesser amount as determined by the City Manager or the City Manager's designee, for the purpose of making change.
