234.08 HISTORIC FIRE STATION FUND.
   (a)   There is hereby established a fund to be known as the Historic Fire Station Fund. All gifts of moneys received and accepted by or on behalf of the Municipality for the purpose of preserving the facade of the historic fire station at the southeast corner of the Town Hall shall be paid into and expended from such Fund as authorized in this section.
   (b)   No single disbursement in excess of one thousand dollars ($1,000) shall be paid from the Historic Fire Station Fund without the approval of Council.
   (c)   In addition to the acceptance of gifts of money from private citizens, the Council may authorize an appropriation of funds for the Historic Fire Station Fund.
   (d)   Either the Manager or the Finance Director, or both of them, are hereby authorized to accept, on behalf of the Municipality, all gifts of money for the purpose of preserving the facade of the historic fire station at the southeast corner of the Town Hall.
