(a) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter, or any amendment hereafter adopted, shall be guilty of a first degree misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be imprisoned for a period not to exceed six months, or fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). Each day's violation of any provision shall constitute a separate offense.
(b) The Law Director is further authorized to seek injunctive relief to prevent to halt any violation of this chapter or any amendments thereto.
