(a) No owner, occupant or other person having control of the ground area within fifteen feet in depth from any curb line, extending thirty feet along such curb line from any intersection, shall permit any shrubs in such ground area to stand more than three feet in height.
(b) The Director of Public Service shall cause written notice to be sent to any violator of subsection (a) hereof, ordering compliance within ten days from receipt of such notice. In the event of noncompliance with such notice, the City may trim such shrubs to a height of three feet. Such remedy shall be in addition to the penalty provided in Section 909.99.
(c) No person shall be deemed in violation of subsection (a) hereof until he has failed to comply with the notice provided in subsection (b) hereof. (Ord. 31-68. Passed 7-15-68.)
