(A) Examination of preliminary plat. The Planning Commission shall consider the preliminary plat together with the staff reports referred to in § 151.18 at the first regular meeting after the plan has been filed. Mailed notices of this meeting shall be sent to the surrounding property owners within 350 feet and to state, county and federal agencies if applicable (shoreline management and wetlands).
(B) Recommendation. The City Planning Commission shall thereafter formulate a recommendation concerning the preliminary plat within 60 days from filing, and shall promptly transmit it to the City Council together with one copy of the plan and the staff report, or the City Council may take action without a recommendation.
