§ 131.02 EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   Nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit any firing of a firearm, gun, pistol, air rifle, bow and arrow or cross-bow, or any other weapons as defined in § 131.03, when done in the lawful defense of persons or property, or in the necessary defense or enforcement of the laws, or when done on supervised target range or shooting range established solely for the purpose of target practice.
   (B)   Hunting of waterfowl on Whitewater Lake and Colby Lake will be allowed, except within 300 feet of any picnic area, camping area, public beach, or any public water access site as provided in M.S. § 97A.141, subd. 5, as it may be amended from time to time.
