Benches must be placed at the foot of the grave to allow a clear path for mowing equipment if the lot owner desires for cemetery personnel to maintain the lot. The lot owner must request cemetery personnel identify grave lot property lines before installation. If a lot owner wishes to place a bench at a location other than at the foot of the grave, a request shall be made to cemetery management. Upon granting the request, maintenance of the lot will be the responsibility of the owner. If the gravesite becomes an unsightly eyesore through lack of routine care of the gravesite, it is the duty of cemetery management to take corrective action in relocating the bench at the foot of the grave so to protect the beauty and appearance of the cemetery.
