17.08.150 Building, height of.
   "Height of building" means the vertical distance measured from the sidewalk level or its equivalent established grade opposite the middle of the front of the building to the highest point of the roof for flat roofs; to the mean height level between eaves and ridge for gambrel, gable, and hip-roofs; to the deckline for mansard roofs. Where a building is located upon a natural terrace or slope the height may be measured from the average ground level at the building wall.
