"Subdivision" means a division of a lot, tract, or parcel of land into two or more lots, or other divisions of land, for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of (1) transfer of ownership, (2) building development, or (3) redevelopment, including all changes in street lines; provided, that divisions of land for agricultural purposes in parcels of five acres or more not involving any new street or easement of access, and other enumerated situations shall be exempted as set forth in Chapter 109 of the Illinois Revised Statutes.
