All snowmobiles operated within the city shall have the following equipment:
A. At least one white headlamp having a minimum candle-power of sufficient intensity to exhibit a white light plainly visible from a distance of at least five hundred feet ahead during hours of darkness under normal atmospheric conditions;
B. At least one red taillamp having a minimum candlepower of sufficient intensity to exhibit a red light plainly visible from a distance of five hundred feet to the rear during hours of dark-ness under normal atmospheric conditions;
C. A brake system in good mechanical condition;
D. Reflective material of a minimum area of sixteen square inches mounted on each side of the cowling. Identifying numbers may be included in computing the required sixteen-square inch area;
E. Mufflers which are properly attached and which reduce the noise of operation of the vehicle to the minimum noise necessary for operating the vehicle and no person shall use a muffler cutout, bypass or similar device on the vehicle;
F. A safety or so called deadman throttle in operating condition; a "safety" or "deadman" throttle is defined as a device which when pressure is removed from the accelerator or throttle causes the motor to be disengaged from driving track.
