5.40.010 Unlicensed raffles prohibited.
   Except as herein allowed under this chapter, raffles, as defined in Section 28-2 (b) of the Criminal Code of 1961, are prohibited in the city, and no person, firm or corporation shall conduct raffles or chances without having first obtained a license therefor pursuant to this chapter.
