5.20.020 Liquor control commissioner-Designated-Duties.
   The mayor shall be the liquor control commissioner for the city and whenever the liquor control commissioner is referred to in this chapter, it means the mayor of the city.
   It shall be the duty of the liquor control commissioner to issue licenses for the sale at retail of alcoholic beverages within the city and to see to the enforcement of this chapter regulating the sale of alcoholic liquor including suspension or revocation of liquor licenses then outstanding.
