A. All full-time employees of the city shall be residents within the city limits of the city with exception for good cause shown by a two-thirds vote of the city council. All employment with the city on the date of passage of the ordinance codified in this chapter shall be conditioned upon said employee taking a residence within the city within sixty days of commencing his/her term of employment.
B. "Resident" means a person who maintains his or her actual bona fide domicile and regular permanent place of abode within the corporate limits of the city.
