2.52.010 Term of office. 
   The term of office of all officers appointed under this title shall be for no more than one year beginning with the fiscal year unless appointed to fill an unexpired term or unless otherwise expressly provided. The term of office shall be established by the Mayor based upon the determination that a position is required for the effective administration of the City, and may be rescinded by the Mayor at any time. If the council by a 2/3 vote of all its members authorized by law to be elected disapproves of the removal, the officer thereupon shall be restored to the office from which he was removed.
