§ 91.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   HELICOPTER. Shall be understood as an aircraft that derives its lift from blades that rotate about an approximately vertical control axis.
   HELISTOP LANDING AREA. A designated site, other than an airport, used for the operation of helicopters where no basing facilities are provided.
