§ 94.04 OPEN FIRES PROHIBITED; EXCEPTIONS.
   No person shall start, cause, or permit to be started any open fire within the village, except that open fires may be permitted for the following purposes; provided, that all other requirements of this subchapter are observed:
   (A)   Bonfires within the guidelines established by the BOCA Fire Prevention Code in effect at the time of a permit;
   (B)   Fires necessary in the course of agricultural operations in growing crops or raising fowl or animals; provided, that no nuisance is created; or
   (C)   Fires set in the performance of an official duty by a public officer for the protection of public health or safety.
