For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
OPEN FIRE. Any fire upon woodland, lot, subdivision, grassland, field, or public right-of-way within the village not wholly contained within an authorized container such as an approved incinerator, outside fireplace, grill, or other receptacle constructed and approved for the purpose of burning combustibles or in a fire pit of three feet in diameter or less.
