A. Notification; Order: Whenever the city or the board of health shall determine that a nuisance detrimental to health exists, it shall in writing notify the owner or occupant of the premises where such nuisance may be found, and shall order the abatement or removal pursuant to such order. The city or the board of health may summarily proceed to abate or remove the same, or the city may cause an action to be brought in the name of the state or the city by the city attorney for the abatement of such nuisance.
B. Abatement By City; Recovery Of Costs: In the event the city abates the nuisance, the city may bring suit to recover costs, etc., in an appropriate court.
C. Collection Of Expenses: In the event collection of expenses to abate the nuisance are pursued through the courts, the city shall sue and receive judgment for all expenses of abatement, together with reasonable attorney fees, interest and court costs, and shall execute upon such judgment in the manner provided by law.
