9.08.010: NUISANCE ABATEMENT; INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS:
The city or the board of health shall cause every nuisance dangerous to health and human life, within its jurisdiction, to be abated. When complaint of such nuisance is made to it, the city or the board of health shall cause the matter to be investigated and shall determine whether or not the alleged nuisance is detrimental to the public health. (1999 Code)
