§ 153.03 PROVISIONS FOR OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.
   (A)   The official zoning map, together with all explanatory matter thereon, is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter and shall be the final authority as to the current zoning regulations.
   (B)   The official zoning map shall be in the custody of the Town Secretary and shall be identified by the official signature of the Mayor under the following words:
“This is to certify that this is the official zoning map referred to in § 153.02 (§ 1.2 of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Holiday Lakes, Texas) read, passed and approved as Ordinance No. 86-68, on the 18th day of March, A.D., 1986.”
   (C)   When changes are made in the district boundaries or other matter portrayed on the official zoning map, such changes shall be entered on the official zoning map promptly after the amendment has been approved by the Town Council. The amendatory ordinance shall provide that such changes become effective when they have been entered upon the official zoning map. Such entry shall be signed officially by the Mayor and attested by the Town Secretary. Any unauthorized change of the official zoning map of whatever kind by any person shall be considered a violation of this chapter punishable as provided in § 153.99.
   (D)   In the event the official zoning map becomes damaged, destroyed, lost or difficult to interpret due to the number of changes thereon, the Town Council may, by a resolution so finding, adopt a new official zoning map. The new official zoning map may correct drafting or other errors or omissions in the prior official zoning map but no such corrections shall have the effect of amending the original official zoning map or any other prior official zoning map. Each new official zoning map shall be identified by the official signature of the Mayor, attested by the Town Secretary, and bearing the Seal of the town, and date under the following words:
“This is to certify that this official zoning map supercedes and replaces the official zoning map adopted on the 18th day of April, A.D., 1986, as part of Ordinance No. 86-68 of the Town of Holiday Lakes, Texas.”
   (E)   Unless lost or totally destroyed, the original and each new official zoning map shall, when superseded, be preserved by the Town Secretary, together with all available records pertaining to its adoption or amendment.
