It shall be unlawful for any person, partnership, firm or corporation to peddle, sell, solicit, exhibit or take orders for or offer to take orders for any goods, wares, merchandise, food or subscriptions to magazines, publications, newspapers, photographs or services without first having obtained a permit to do so from the town, except as provided for in § 110.04.
