§ 159.105 GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTANCE.
   (A)   Rules and regulations. All improvements to be accepted by the local government shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the following laws, rules and regulations:
      (1)   All applicable statutory provisions;
      (2)   The comprehensive plan and all its elements to include the major street plan, public utilities plan, capital improvement program and the parks and recreation plan;
      (3)   The special requirements of this chapter and any rules of the State Health Department and/or other appropriate state agencies;
      (4)   The rules of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, if the subdivision abuts a state highway; and
      (5)   The standards and regulations adopted by the local government engineer and all boards, commissions, agencies and officials of the local government.
   (B)   Withholding of approval. Preliminary plat approval may be withheld if a subdivision is not in conformity with the above guides or policies or purposes of this chapter as established in §§ 159.001 and 159.002 of this chapter.
