§ 98.22 CARE OF ANIMALS GENERALLY.
   (A)   No owner shall fail to provide for each animal under his or her care each of the following:
      (1)   Adequate feed;
      (2)   Adequate water;
      (3)   Adequate shelter to allow the animal to remain dry and protected from the elements;
      (4)   Adequate space in the primary enclosure for the particular type of animal depending upon its age, size, species and weight;
      (5)   Adequate exercise;
      (6)   Adequate care, treatment and transportation; and
      (7)   Veterinary care when needed or to prevent suffering or disease transmission.
   (B)   No animal shall be confined within a motor vehicle under such conditions as may endanger the health or well being of the animal, including, but not limited to, dangerous temperature or lack of food and water.
