2-1-1: BOARD CREATED; POWERS AND DUTIES:
There is hereby created a board of local improvements pursuant to the Illinois Compiled Statutes. The board shall have power to make local improvements by special assessment or special service area and shall operate under the procedures set forth in said Illinois Compiled Statutes. (1985 Code § 2-1-1; amd. 2016 Code)
2-1-2: MEMBERSHIP; COMPENSATION:
The board of local improvements shall consist of seven (7) members, the president and six (6) trustees. The village clerk shall be secretary for the board and shall keep its minutes which may be set forth in the official minute book of the clerk. No members of the board of local improvements nor the secretary shall receive compensation for their duties on the board. (1985 Code § 2-1-2)
