9-7-1: BUILDING REGULATIONS ADOPTED:

The following codes are hereby adopted by reference as a part of this title, subject, however, to the modifications and exceptions set forth herein.

   A.   Regulations For Detached Single-Family Residential Permits And Multiple Single-Family Dwellings (Townhouses) As Defined By The International Residential Code (IRC):

      1.   International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings (IRC), 2015 edition.

      2.   Illinois State Plumbing Code (ISPC), 2014 edition as mandated by the State of Illinois.

      3.   Village of Hodgkins Fair Housing Policy.

      4.   NFPA 70, National Electric Code (NEC), 2014 edition.

      5.   International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), 2015 edition.

      6.   Village of Hodgkins Rental Residential Housing Code.

      7.   Village of Hodgkins Neighborhood Preservation Program.

   B.   Regulations For Commercial, Industrial, And All Permits Other Than Detached Single-Family Residential, Multiple Single-Family Dwellings (Townhouses): All Building Code changes and modifications shall apply:

      1.   International Building Code (IBC), 2015 edition.

      2.   International Mechanical Code (IMC), 2015 edition.

      3.   International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), 2015 edition.

      4.   International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), 2015 edition with State of Illinois amendments.

      5.   Illinois State Plumbing Code (ISPC), 2014 edition as mandated by the State of Illinois.

      6.   International Fire Code (IFC), 2015 edition.

      7.   International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), 2015 edition.

      8.   International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2015 edition.

      9.   NFPA 70, National Electric Code (NEC), 2014 edition.

      10.   NFPA 101, Life Safety Code (NFPA 101), 2015 edition.

      11.   Illinois Accessibility Code (IAC), 2018 edition as mandated by the State of Illinois.

   C.   Amendments: The codes above are hereby amended as set forth in the following sections.

   D.   Conflicts: Whenever the provisions of this title conflict with specific or implied provisions of the codes, rules, or regulations set forth in this title, as herein incorporated, the provisions of this title shall prevail and govern. (Ord. 19-05, 6-4-2019)
