A. Unless otherwise specified in this Code, the salaries and pay for all officers shall be paid monthly and the salaries and pay for all employees shall be paid every two (2) weeks to each person entitled thereto. (1985 Code § 1-8-5; amd. 2016 Code)
B. Effective May 1, 2015, any elected or appointed official with at least twenty (20) years of creditable service with the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund and eligible to receive an Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund annuity shall not and is hereby prohibited from receiving any compensation from the Village for the performance of his/her duties or services whether related to or in addition to his/her elected or appointed position. C. Any employee who retires at age fifty (50) with more than twenty five (25) years of service shall, upon reaching the age of fifty five (55), be eligible for health insurance coverage, as provided by the Village to all Village employees, at one hundred percent (100%) paid by the Village, based on single or dependency coverage.
