7-2-2: STATE LICENSES REQUIRED:
   A.   Vehicle License: It shall be unlawful for any motor vehicle to be driven in or upon or used in or upon any street, parkway, sidewalk, public way, public alley, public property, semipublic property, shopping center, park or school grounds without having a license issued to said vehicle by the state. It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession a motor vehicle for use which cannot be licensed by the secretary of state. The possession of such vehicle by any person is hereby declared to be a nuisance. (1985 Code § 6-2-2; amd. 2016 Code)
   B.   Driver's Licenses: It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle in or upon or use any highway, street, parkway, sidewalk, public way, public alley, public property, semipublic property, park, public or parochial school grounds, shopping center or drainage basin without having a valid driver's license issued thereto.
